It's just too darn cute for words!

Eggs....Not Just for Breakfast!

Can you believe that Easter is almost here?
Today we thought we'd share two of our favorite ways
to showcase those Eggs....

Putting them on pedestals are by far the cutest way!
Vintage or new reproduction
vases make great egg stands.

Use candlestick holders as well -
use these egg stands as decorations on a side table or shelf.
You could also get a bunch of them,
in different heights and put them down the table!

Dress them up a bit with some decorative papers
or fabrics to add a punch of color!

This egg pedestal makes a great table favor as well -
here we used a miniature clay pot.
We've also used vintage  jello cups as well!
Head out into the yard and get a bit of grass
and sit the egg in the grass.
So cute
& you'll be looking ready for Easter in minutes!

Now....what to have for breakfast!!
Happy Monday everyone!

Eggs-traordinaire Eggs

It's crunch time...time to get those Easter Eggs decorated!
Last year we made these eggs right before Easter, and never had a chance to post...so enjoy!

We used Duck eggs, because we read that the shell was harder and would stand up to the pressure of polking a hole in them, and getting the yolk out....some eggs didn't fare so well!

We photo copied some images that we had around the house and cut them into ovals to mod podge onto the eggs.

Ribbons
and Markers
to decorate the eggs with

We liked
how they turned out...in fact we had every intention in getting more done this year....maybe next!!
