A Bird of a Different Feather

Look what we came across last week.... 


 A cool
 kitsch bird!


With long draping feathers


It's in really good shape...
just a lot of crazing that gives it loads of character!


This is our favorite part....
just look at those scrolls!


It looks to have a number of some sort
700 or 760


 There is some sort of stamping on the bottom,
 but it is really hard to see.


Nice manicure!


and these huge plumes on it's head!


Here is some of the detail of it's raised foot.


Proud as a Peacock....
Yet Posing like a Flamingo!

We'll just say
that he's a
very stylized
Flamingo....



Is that OK
fella?

We're not quite sure what flock you came from...
but we like you just the same!

Nice Art Deco piece, I can see him/her in someones conservatory filled with ferns...
