Trick or Treat is fast approaching! We dug into the archives for this picture of Kevin & Karla getting ready for the big night. Isn't this quote so true? We always thought we tricked Grandma when we went to her door! And what did Grandma put in your plastic pumpkin? Only the best! Our Grandma would have popcorn balls mmmmm! After the "treating" was over we would always go back over and make caramel apples - what fun memories! Any fun Halloween memories for you?

We didn't have Halloween in Argentina growing up but I'll never forget my first Halloween night in the States. I opened the door and found about 10 little kids all dressed up and thought it was the cutest sight ever! Of course I remember every single Halloween after that too, we used to dress up with our kids and have a blast!
Love that pict, girls!!!
Where, oh WHERE do you all come up with these hilarious quotes??? And that picture! PRICELESS! I think I had a mask like that once. The mask on the left.
Halloween? I think a memorable experience is when our parents used to encourage us to soap their friends' windows! Harmless (and clean, hehehe) fun. It was sort of a status symbol to get your windows soaped so no one minded it one bit. ;-) Isn't that weird? I haven't thought about that in years. And of course we would say things in soap like "Happy Halloweeeeeeeeen!" Can you even imagine what people might write on a window today??? Perish the thought!
I think this activity appealed to my mother because it involved soap, and she was a nut about germs and washing hands and stuff...
XO,
Sheila :-)
