Decorating with Shadows & Pumpkins

It's that time of week again....Shadow Shot Sunday, where we search for shadows in and around the store - we found this one, just outside of the store this week. It is pumpkin time isn't it? Time to decorate and think Fall!

This season is always a struggle with us...it's time to put pumpkins out...yet you hate to tear out all that lovely foliage that you've been watering and feeding all summer long - as it becomes the most lovely urn of flowers & greens ever...you are expected to rip it all out for fall!

We love to use both (we can't bare to part with either!)
So....we come up with displays like this...

We love using Cinderella pumpkins (the flatter, squaty ones) to stack by themselves, or with other pumpkins.

With shadows...and without - we love to decorate with pumpkins!

For more shadows around the world - visit Hey Harriet and discover your inner shadow searcher...you'll be glad you did!

I haven't put up mine as I had a crazy busy week.

Have a blessed w/end and God Bless you both!

These gourds look so impressive as decorations. Naturally, I had not considered pumpkins that are flat on top and bottom to stack so nicely. The harvest time style looks nice around the front door!
