Field Trip and Shadows

Yesterday was my youngest guy's field trip to Eshelman's in Clyde. Knowing that Shadow Shot Sunday is almost here - I packed the camera up to capture "the ONE" , if you know what I mean!!
Kids were crazy - funny, but crazy!

They got onto the back of the wagon and we took a ride back to the orchards - lucky for us Fuji apples were ready to pick. We all got a bag to fill -yum!!
When we got back we took a tour of the facilities - this is where "the ONE" was - hope you enjoy - it is where the apples travel down the conveyor....down down, then up to be packaged for the stores! I am sure that my fellow parents couldn't figure out what that mother was doing taking pictures of everything and anything BUT the kids!! Oops - did I mention he's my youngest!!??? Enjoy your weekend - visit Harriet for the best shadow shots in the world!!

That's a really neat shot. Funny how we're always on the look out for shadows now, huh? Looks like a fun field trip. I love going to factories and seeing how things are produced.

What an unusual shot! In some ways, it comes up as keys on a keyboard! (I have an active imagination!) Fascinating!

Hi Gals,
It was so much fun meeting both of you today and getting to see your adorable shop. My flowers look adorable in my freshly painted living room. I will definitely be back.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

So creative! I love your shadow shot! I can relate to strange stares from people who wonder 'what the heck is she pointing her camera at?' when all the action is going on somewhere else. I'm quietly crouched in the corner shooting shadows ;) The tour looks like fun! I like factory tours. Except the ones that are a bit smelly. Don't like smelly factories.

I never ever would have guessed what your SS was! So glad you included a description. I too am fascinated by factory tours.

How funny, they were wondering what you're doing;centimeters I'm sure people think the same thing about me. "What could be so exciting 2 centimeters from the ground in that parking lot?"...
Lovely shot of machinery!

Great shot...love the mechanized look of it! Looks like a fun day. I'm sure your kid knows he has the cool, interesting, creative Mom...and that's cool!!

Lovely shadow shots. I think I may need to take a field trip sometime for a change. I think photographing the lawn in my front yard is getting a little desperate for subject matter :)
