Presto - It's Pesto!

Oh yum - you guys....wish every one of you could have been there! Catherine from Reiter Landscaping was at the Garden Party tonight - and she made two beautiful pestos - perfect for summer entertaining! Here's one to try:

Sage & Roquefort Pesto
1/3 cup fresh sage leaves
3/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley
3/4 cup fresh spinach leaves
2 tablespoons toasted walnuts or pecans
2 large garlic cloves, smashed
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1-2 oz Roquefort or other strong blue cheese

Blend the herbs, nuts and garlic in food processor until finely minced. Add the oil and cheese and process until blended.

Enjoy!!

Hi Karla dna Karrie~!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments about my mosaics!

I am so glad I got a chance to meet you. This pesto sounds scrumptious! I have been reading some of your past posts and am sorry I missed your 101 post giveaway!

Do you sell your items online too? I went to your website and the "window shop" area was under construction. I know I would just love your store!
