It's that time of year....
when we need some
direction
Today we are getting the back of our cupboard
ready for our Beach Section in the store
Just so happens
that one of our favorite junkin' pals
brought us some old maps last year
and that
was all the direction we needed :)
We taped two maps together
We took off the paper in the back of the cupboard
that we had on from spring and used it as our pattern
Then we stapled the paper on the back of the cupboard
(if we were doing this at home, we would have wallpaper pasted it on the back...
but we change the back too much to do that!)
Then we moved onto the next shelf,
and the next...and so on!
What a great backdrop for
the BEACH!

I LOVE IT! I esp love it because one of hubby's interests is old maps and one of my pet peeves is boring backs of book shelves. That project would look so good in his office with the framed maps all around.

Girls what a fabulous idea!! I love it!! I just might use it when we move into the new house on an older bookcase we have. It would look perfect in one of the guest rooms! Have fun decorating for the Beach!! HUGS!
