She saw starfish shadows, but not by the sea shore...

We caught these shadow of starfish the other day.  They are displayed in one of our large glass hurricanes.  We love how the glass almost gives and illusion of water in this picture.

Not only under water, the feeling of depth of water is cool, the layering of stars a wonderful effect. Happily we see these enclosed in glass and not in the water by our feet...

I have simply got to get back to Florida...possibly in January when the snows are flying up North...yes, don't you think...after all I need to go buy shells and starfish...doesn't take much of an excuse for me...heehee!

I blogged about some shells which my son found abandon, can you imagine abandoned shells.? They I believe are from our own Lake Erie..finding a use for all of these will take a while....
