Shadows, Shells & A Project
Once again it's time for Shadow Shot Sunday!
Today was a rainy day in Ohio, so we decided to do a "craft." My daughter had a wooden "S" that she had gotten a couple of months ago to paint. I suggested that we take shells and cover it {she has a beach themed room}
Even though she ended up with a blister from the hot glue gun, she was very pleased with the end result - and we showed everyone we came in contact with - of course they all loved it!
{and, yes, if you are wondering....that is really the color of her room!}
See more creative & colorful shadows on Hey Harriet this weekend!!

cool shadows!
She did a great job.
I made a wreath with shells that I've collected over the years.
What a great idea ... it's wonderful! Thanks for visiting mine at Happily Retired Gal ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
great use for some shells!! and a great gift idea, where'd you find the letter?
I think we picked it up a JoAnn fabrics - but I would think that any craft/hobby store would have them!!
Fun idea and the S came out really well!
great idea with the shells! cool shadows..
You know you just can't operate a glue gun without at least one burn...love the room color, not quite as shocking as my house...I also have a beach porch...I love it, with old fish net hanging on the windows...fun stuff!
We had the rains yesterday, thought it wasn't gonna stop all day, we needed it though, so I won't complain too loudly...ha!
Have a great Sunday girls!
"S" did a great job with those shells and you got some cool shadows. ..Just perfect!
"S" is for seashells—
cast-off houses of creatures
that swim in the depths.

What sweet seashell shadows! Now try saying that really quickly ;) That's a gorgeous colour for a room and the finished crafty project turned out so well. All worth a little blister :)

Very creative use of shells. Thanks for reminding me that I still have sandy shells in the bottom of my bag from last weekend. Hmmm... I better go rinse them.
Very cool!
Great indoor idea. I remember how much my daughter loved any project that involved the glue gun..lol
