Help! We're Addicted to Shadows!

We're ripping up the back of the store this weekend to paint the wall, so shadows were put on the back burner...however ~ we couldn't resist! Last night, while having dinner, we saw this fantastic shadow ~ and of all places it was in my bookcase.

This is a chrysanthemum McCoy vase that was a wedding gift of our grandmother's.

Karrie & I were lucky to have gotten many old vases & containers from Grandma, hence, this is why I probably can't get enough of old vases today!

Just like vases, we are addicted to Shadow Shot Sunday....won't you join us over at Hey Harriet this weekend?

Good luck with the shop. Can't wait to see the final results, or should I say, the reveal!! ;-)

What a lovely vase and a great shot! I know I've gotten to feel like a shadow detective, too, always prowling around looking for them! Sure is fun though!

Have a great day!

Lovely, mysterious quality to your shot. Thirty years ago, my next door neighbor had six McCoy vases in her yard sale. I'm still kicking myself for not buying them.

It's it wonderful how we begin to see shadows all around us we might never have noticed before SSS! Thanks for visiting my shadows at Happily Retired Gal this weekend.
