Deceiving Shadows

Last night we went out with friends to Ciao! - a fun place to eat out...the ambiance is grand and there's great Italian food all around.

On the way in we saw these curtains hanging and thought the shadow would be fab for Shadow Shots this weekend.....

Do you see that the "curtain" is not made of beads....but pasta?!!

Whether they are deceiving, or straight with you - shadows are great fun! Won't you join us for Shadow Shot Sunday this weekend? Get your shadow & visit Hey Harriet for the best shadow fix around!!

Buona giornata!

ust wanted to tell you that my baby sister and I owned and operated a Catering business together for many years. She got to busy having babies so we closed the catering and I purchased a restaurant.

Now many years later I am retired and my sister, with her last child in collage, has started her own catering business once again. I will occasionally help her with the bigger jobs.

Folks often ask how we can get along in business, remarking they are sure they could not do it with their sister.

Just nice to know we are not the only ones out there.

We are also the children of an auctioneer who always had resale and antique shops on the side that all of us kids grew up working in. So many of the items I see in your photo's take me back in time to those days.

Great fun shot - but the pasta curtain wouldn't last in our house. My elder son has been known to eat dried pasta (yuck!) xxx

Hi Girls!!

On your Sorbet Soiree sounded fabulous!! I wish I could have come to it. The one with the rose geranium infusion in it must have been too delightful!

Nice shadow shot! Hope you girls are having a wonderful summer.

big hugs, sherry

That is a super neat shot, ladies. Good capture.

I have to tell you that I howled over your comments about Mr. Crab and the drawn butter. LOL! That made my night when I read it. You are too funny!

XO,

Sheila :-)

What a fun idea to make beaded curtains from pasta! I'm surprised I've never seen anything like that. Fun shot!
