Shadow Shot Sunday

This week marks the annual Civil War Reenactment at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in town. We love this first weekend in October - so much history and fun for the family. As we were out walking through the grounds of Spiegel Grove, we found some great shadow shots. This is the one we picked out for our shadow shot....don't worry - there's more pictures to come of the reenactment tomorrow!!

Don't forget to visit Hey Harriet to get your shadow fix!

This looks very familiar indeed! We used to camp all the time when we were young. Love this shadow shot! I bet the reenactments are a lot of fun! :D

Nice shot! The surrounding shadows really makes the tent pop out at you! I'll check back in for those reenactment pics tomorrow :)

Awesome shot...love the reenactments. Always tried to get my 'X' to attend one as he was an avid hunter, using old methods, one on one with the beast. But to some men, vanity rules. So I dream of days long past...

You really go to some fun events! Nice shadows on the tent. It looks so clean too:) My back-packing tent was just old I guess. Enjoy the history!"
