Karrie stenciled this silver platter last fall

 and put it in her Christmas wreath...

it was only right that she put it in her spring wreath

for a lovely game...of

 Karrie was busy decorating mom's house this week.

moss, feathers & speckled eggs

A Shower of Flowers

The trees have been so pretty this spring!

Even though it's sad to see the petals drop

it's so pretty to see the petals

scattering all around!

On the sidewalk, driveway, even on us as we walk by!

Too bad the

Nesting......

We've heard a lot of "twitter" about the store this morning....

but it's all "for the birds!"

I guess we're in the "nesting" mode here at the store!! 

Its is finally starting to feel like spring around here....

the birds are thanking us for our beautiful spring arrangements in front of the store today....

and making it known they do not care for us being so close to this fresh nest!

or getting some new things to freshen up with?

so weren't we excited yesterday 

when UPS blew on in with boxes of these gorgeous

They are light as a feather and full of color...

exactly what we need 

on a blustery day like today!!

Nesting & Gnats

Out and about this weekend

we were looking at all of our spring flowers

and found this up on the old windmill nextled in our lilac bush

Can you even imagine

making a nest....with a beak!

A little miracle indeed!

It will be interesting to see if we have any tennants this spring!

One thing that we have a lot of this spring

is plenty of spring flowers....

The myrtle is out and blooming

{crazy that it's doing this so early!}

Even our glads are popping up!

Hyacinths have been in bloom for a week....

and the daffodils are so pretty to look at...

until you start to look close...

then you see them....

GNATS!

Drat those Gnats!

This is such a cool picture...but with nats!

Of course, you have to think that this one is pretty cool,

you can see the gnats flying ~ lol!

Got to look at the good in everything...right?
