A Bouquet of Shadows

A Wedding Here
Provided us a wonderful spot to take pictures of our Bouquets...

One for the Bride...

and one of the Bridesmaids....

And the window that provided the great backdrop
and
Shadows!

It's our favorite time of the week...
chasing shadows!
Join us @ Hey Harriet and gather as many shadows as you can!

Good luck with your hollyhocks!

Here ya go, girls--just for you:

BOUQUET FOR THE BRIDE?

Bouquet for the bride,
but none for the groom?
Sexism at work,
that’s what I assume.

Shouldn’t the bridegroom
as well as the bride
carry fresh flowers
both in and outside

the chapel or hall,
whenever they wed?
And something alive,
not something half dead!

The Mon Ami (my friend?) looks so elegant, old world yet oh so inviting. The details are the memories we hold the longest it seems - so this bouquet is a stunner, the bold pastels full of joy and life. The window view, that I assume might give a look toward Lake Erie, is wonderful, too. Such a charming place! And if I make it out to Catawba, a bottle of that Gewurztraminer I shall purchase!
