Swedish Shadows, Ya

Shadows were falling...
not in Sweden, mind you, but on our vintage Swedish soup bowls.
Come on and join us for Shadow Shot Sundays this weekend on Hey Harriet...
we promise you will have a "bowl!"

This place setting is beautiful! Almost too good to eat from. The delicate design does make this china perfect for showing if not a fine meal. Lovely as always!

Soup would taste so good from those bowls though I might be too afraid to use them ;-)

The bowls look great and the shadows make them look even greater.

Such pretty bowls. Have always liked the washed out brown on cream colors. Even new ones have an aged look about them. Happy SSS to you.

When you are afflicted by croup,
There’s nothing like shadowy soup
That’s sipped from a bowl
(It’s Swedish, I’m tol’)—
You’ll quickly be back in the loop!
