Spooky Schoolhouse Shadows

A few weeks ago during our Progressive Tea we had the pleasure of touring the Pember-Fury house, as well as the old school house in Pemberville.

Now, we know that schools can be creepy... but we weren't sure if we would want to attend this one, at least while it was decorated for Halloween!

We captured this creepy shadow being cast from the streamers around the light... OOOOHHHHOOOO!
Super Creepy!!
For all sorts of treats, visit Hey Harriet, where capturing shadows is the only trick!
Happy Halloween Everyone!

Sometimes, school aged kids can act as it they indeed are goblins. So perhaps the school may be decorated for the season, but would the decorations still be appropriate in March> Or did they outgrow the decorations (yet)??

IN THE HAUNTED SCHOOLHOUSE

In the haunted schoolhouse,
Ghosts and goblins wait,
Hoping for a victim—
No, it’s not too late.

Who will be the first one
Taken by surprise?
Will it be the schoolmarm
That they terrorize?

Will it be a student,
Carrying his books?
Will they scare him witless
With their evil looks?

In the haunted schoolhouse,
Ghosts and goblins wait,
Drooling for some victims—
Who will meet their fate?
