Getting "The Dish" On Shadows

Come get "the dish" on the best shadows around! It's time for Shadow Shot Sunday...and that means around-the-world fun!
While working around the store today, we found some shadows coming from some of these brown transferware plates that we just hung up.

Do join us, and our wonderful host Tracy on Hey Harriet...where you'll get your weekly serving of shadows!

Isn't it marvelous to be alert...to "see" things that normally pass us by? :)

Nice transferware plates. Reminds of years ago (like, 20) in an antique co-op mall there was a complete set in mint condition for under $80.00. Alas, my budget could not handle even that deal!

These plates have the artistic hand painted elegance and beauty, when dinnerware was expected to look special. The shadows make for a wonderful look, the lighting leaving an even nicer character on the wall!

I love these plates - how can you bear to part with them? Keep them for their shadows!

I like the soft colors of these dishes. I don't think I have ever seen this color before. And the spaghetti photo in your earlier post is adorable.

I think the brown and the black are my faves, but it all looks so divine in any setting...agree!?

It's nice to see something else besides the blue I usually see. I hope all is well at the shop these days.

Don't you just love transferware? I have a huge collection of blue and some pieces in brown. I have promised to keep it under control, but it's hard!!! Those plates are wonderful!
