Isn't it nice to just take a drive - going through little towns to see what that particular area is like? This quote is certainly true - isn't it? Getting places quick is one thing....missing out on all of the charm of a city and it's surrounding towns is such a shame!

I remember when Charles Kuralt made that comment and it is so true. I find the little byways and towns enchanting.
Progress has made us loose lots of things while gaining some others...now we are in a constant battle to get back to basics!
