Yummy Shadows

A sticky shadow appeared this week during our Bread Making Class with Catherine!

This Thursday we had our bread making class. Catherine shared her recipe...however....

We were sworn to secrecy!

No-knead bread so delicious.....

Just cut off what you need....

Then put it on a pan...cut some slices into the bread on top....then bake - just how simple was that? well.....how about a topping:

Olives, Rosemary and butter {well...smart balance butter....got to be healthy ya know!}

Mix it all in your food chopper and it will look something like this......

Try it out for yourself {we are allowed to share this recipe!}

Olive, Walnut & Rosemary Butter
1 cup Kalamata Olives
1/2 cup toasted walnuts
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 Tablespoon Fresh Rosemary
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup butter

Spread it on that freshly baked bread....just look at it melting right away....go ahead - help yourself while you enjoy more yummy shadows at Hey Harriet!

Yummo! I love fresh home-baked bread. That was such a tease to not share the recipe! Oh well, at least you shared the recipe to that delicious sounding topping. So I'll not hold a grudge :D

Well, how unfair is that - you tease us with images of the most delectable bread and then say the recipe's a secret! Maybe it's just as well, as I am trying to burn off all the extra weight put on over Easter. (But I'd still love the recipe ... grovel).

OMG...that spread looks sooooo good!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe for it! I would try to weasel the bread recipe out of you but am probably too lazy to use it. Luckily I have a bread machine. My bread doesn't come out as pretty as that loaf...but still tastes good and will really taste good with that spread on it!!

Can you tell I love fresh baked breads...and spreads! I've almost forgotten I came here to see your shadow shot.

Nice shadow shot! Is it rude of me to say that it was upstaged by the finished product?! lol:}
