Last weekend we went to Toledo's Home & Garden Show to see some friends. While we were there, the kids (and adults too!) were fascinated with the sand sculpture that was being made. We quick snapped some pictures for Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sundays.....hope you all enjoy!
Here is the gentleman who was creating this sand sculpture - isn't it amazing? We are sure that all of the kids were wondering who got to kick it down after the show!
Stop by and visit everyone at Hey Harriet to see what kind of creative shadows are around this weekend!

Boy, summer's just around the corner and this just proves it...playin' in the sand.
Have a wonderful weekend!

That's amazing. Love the photo. Sand sculpture is such a cool thing to see - there's an event here in Oregon every year on the coast; and they've started doing one in the city too.
that is one complicated sand sculpture! Neat!
I can't imagine having the skill (or time) to do that!

That is amazing! He really has to plan for balance and stability so that it doesn't topple over.
That is just plain cool! What a great find. Happy SSS!
what an amazing sand structure... a real piece of engineering!!
Wow! That's way more impressive than the dinky little sand castles that I make! Lucky I wasn't there in person to see it, as I think the temptation to jump on it would be far too great! Oh what fun that would be! Wheeeeee! Thud! :D
Isn't this sculpture simply amazing? I love sand sculpture, but it does stress me out a little, because it's a work of art and it's at the mercy of the elements and the local kids!
Didn't realize it was a sand sculpture until I read your story! Very amazing that someone can make a sand sculpture looking so real! Fantastic!
Oh I can imagine those kids wondering... but it would really be a pity to just knock it down after all that work!

Should this be a brand-name for something?
It's tremendous, this sand sculpture! It will live in photos such as yours! :)

It's amazing what people can create with sand. Great pictures.
Your sand picture is great and I like your blog as well. Very pretty!
I must have skipped class the day they handed out the artistic gene. I am always amazed at how the mind of and artist works. To be able to visualize something and then create a work of beauty or wonder out of any simple medium blows me away.
Great Capture.
Great photo, thanks!
