I've seen a lot of it today....and will see more of it tomorrow {and I guarantee there will be a load of work ahead!}
It's our laundry chute!
The other day we heard this joke....so we thought we'd pass it along today ~ it seems to fit well!
One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"
He yelled back, "University of Oklahoma."
He yelled back, "University of Oklahoma."
{Come on....you saw it coming didn't ya?!!}
Visit more great shadows on Hey Harriet this weekend....you'll have Loads of Fun!!

The dreaded laundry!
It never ends does it. I always thought a chute would be nice if for no other reason than get the laundry out of sight.
Loved the joke! :)
You're full of the jokes tonight! lol:D I hadn't a clue what it was...even with the "load" hint. I'm a little slow on the uptake:}
Now if that was my laundry chute you wouldn't see it for the laundry!!! I love the colours of your chute, white and green and of course the shadows, at least its nice to look at even if we don't like the work associated with it, lol!! Happy Sunday girls :0)
Love your new blog look and I love your shadow shot find! Very cool!

I love your shadows. And I LOVE your joke.
I also love your name: "Summer Kitchen Girls".
Cool shot! I would never have guessed it was a laundry chute. Laudry chutes are not very common over here.
I liked your joke btw. It made me chuckle :)
Laundry chute..what does it do? I dont know of anyone having one here. As for the husband joke..YES..i certainly saw it coming!! Have lots of experience with that at home ;p

Anyway... funny when analysing your SS §:-)

Bwahahahahaha! I can't let my husband do the wash because "he doesn't know how" to take out stains! Love the shadows! :)
Oh and yes, your blog header "rocks." Mimosa is the color and the Pantone company calls it the color for 2009. I've chosen that color for my blog and I'll go back to it when Valentine's Day is over. I LOVE that color! :)
Neat shot and I laughed at the joke. Laughing is always good.
Here's another good hubby joke:
Men are like dogs, they have an irrational fear of vacuum cleaners.
This reminds me of the laundry chute in one of my childhood homes, I thought it was awesome. I love the photo. Happy SSS!
Your shadow shot if very nice. However, your laundry tale is perfect.
Ha! We have one of those! I got such a kick out of it when I first moved in; never thought to photograph it, though. Very original!
All husbands use the same life handbook don't they? lol And how cool is it to have a laundry chute! :)
Love the colours. We don't have a laundry chute, sometimes I just throw our laundry out the back window of our house. We moved our laundry to the shed in our backyard. I'm actually sitting in our old laundry now, it's my art studio ;)
How funny! I'll have to remember that one for sure! Hope you have a wonderful week~ :)
I love that joke!
great photo, we have a chute too - me
I used to carry it down not I throw it down the stairs
Very clever SS..I think mine would be blocked with dirty washing! :D
Hahaha.. funny!
