"Could you join us for a spot of tea?"

Hey everyone! The benefit tea party for Heartbeat of Fremont is this Sunday, April 22nd a 2pm. As of today, it is half full, and we are hoping for the rest to be filled up. We will have Sherry Sprouse, Heartbeat's director, joining us, as she will tell us a bit about the ministry of Heartbeat. We are so excited to have her, especially since this Saturday she will be honored at a banquet by The Exchange Club. This year Sherry was chosen as the recipient of their Golden Deeds Award. Karrie and I are finishing up details of the meal. We will have a delicious salad and some appetizers to start off with, then we have picked out some sandwiches. We are narrowing down the scones to two, and finally the dessert! You won't go away hungry, that is for sure! We will also have lots of tea to try.

If you are interested, please call this week so that we can get a count for the food. We are suggesting a $15 donation (tax-deductible) to Heartbeat. We will have the store open an hour before and after the tea for shopping. We will be giving a percentage of these sales to Heartbeat as well.
