Last week we had a special evening with our friends over at
Beeker's General Store in Pemberville!
Our guests stopped at Beeker's first for some delicious Pumpkin Soup
and hors d'oeuvres and they got to make a sweet paper pumpkin...
and then they traveled to our store where we had a surprise waiting for them!
All summer we've seen the
Outdoor Movie Theaters
on Pinterest...
so we decided to try it ~ and it was
SO
MUCH
FUN!
We sat up chairs with a blanket for everyone...
and stapled a twin sheet to the trees for our screen.
We then sat the projector up and waited patiently for our guests to come!
{such goofy sisters!}
We served their meal on foil cake pans
with our fun Halloween napkins covering the bottom!
Wrapped the silverware up....
and then we decided to add a
beaded spider to the silverware
Everyone got a Hot Foil Pocket
with a Ham & Cheese Croissant enclosed
with some Pear & Cranberry Coleslaw
We didn't get a picture of dessert...
but you can get that recipe here:
Go ahead...check it out...in less than 30 seconds
you'll know how to make the easiest dessert EVER!!
Then everyone went out to sit by the bonfire
until the movie was ready to start
Shhhhh!!!
The movie is starting!
And of course...after everyone finished their meal
we handed out bags of popcorn...
The weather was perfect...
We couldn't have asked for a better night!!
We watched two short Hitchcock films:
The Cheney Vase and The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Everyone raved about how much fun this was...
We hope that we've inspired you to have your own
Outdoor Movie Theater in the future!
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Well I would have thought it was very fun also to be entertained and feed at the same time by you two talented gals
Looks like you started something they will all look forward to again
I love this idea. It sounds like you were the perfect hostesses with blankets and hot food to go around. And Hitchcock? It's been so long since I've watched anything of his. Time to remedy that! Pinning this idea. Thanks!
Cool and clever and fun!!! And woo hoo, Hitchcock! You two are just the best when it comes to cleverness and fun!
Oh, that must have been fun. I hope no one went to check the shower, right? :-)
Greetings from London.
OK GIRLS
