Thought we'd share a recipe that we made
today at the store
It is AMAZING!
Every Saturday in February we are celebrating
Customer Appreciation Month
with
Breakfast at The Summer Kitchen
(our play on "Breakfast at Tiffany's")
Sally the Tomato's Italian Sausage Egg Breakfast
4 cups country-style bread, cut into 1-inch piecees
1-1/2 cups frozen diced hash browns with onions & peppers
1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
1/2 cup coarsely chopped sweet onion
1/2 cup coarsely chopped roasted red sweet pepper
8 oz Italian sausage, cooked
1 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups milk
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
In a large bowl combine bread pieces, potates, cheese, onion, sweet pepper,
sausage and garlic. Spoon bread mixture into prepared cooker. In the same bowl,
whisk together milk, eggs, salt and crushed red pepper.
Pour egg mixture over bread mixture in cooker.
Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5-1/2 - 6 hours.
Enjoy!

What a sweet thing to do for your customers...the crock pot is a wonderful idea. I need to dust mine off and try this! ;-D
