Well, we are pretty lucky because we have a lighthouse near us...
and it just so happens that Karrie & her hubby
just visited the Marblehead Lighthouse recently!
(we couldn't have planned THAT better lol!!)
"The Marblehead Lighthouse was built in 1821
and is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse
on the Great Lakes."
