This is the pitcher that our grandma made kool-aid in
for our mom and her three brothers every day!
Mom has it sitting above her kitchen cupboards...
such a sentimental piece that she couldn't part with!
Reminds her of her Mom.....
and kool-aid!

I still have my Mom's jewel tea ball pitcher
ReplyDeleteonly she never made cool aid in it , it was to special to use LOL, we had ice tea in it for special dinners
I also have an entire pie safe full of my mOm's Jewel Tea dishes
Small world ~ I have the same pitcher! It originally belonged to my Grandma Lela who gave it to my mother, who gave it to moi! I love it:) My mother passed away last summer so this will be my first Mother's Day as an orphan. Sounds pretty pitiful but I'm hoping my day will be filled with sweet memories and smiles:) Maybe I'll whip up some lemonade in my pitcher!
