Ahhhh.....Christmas is over
Time to think of just what you'll decorate with,
once the festive holiday decorations are down!
We came up with an idea....
you'll just need:
A package of Snowonder
(we have a few packets left....)
Water
& a Container
(we just so happen to sell these wonderful bulb vases....
but you don't necessarily need one for this project!)
Mix the snow adding a little water at a time
Put "snow" into jar
Add a bulb
(we've been starting some, that's why you see so much root!)
Tuck in a little more snow around the bulb,
filling in and around those roots too!
You'll have yourself your own
Bulb in the Snow!
Of course
there was some snow left over and had another idea.
We had some crocus bulbs that we started as well
We just planted them in another planter
Can you get enough of this?
What a fun idea to get us through those winter months!!
This is a great idea! I might just have to try it.

How fun, this is REALLY pretty!!
ReplyDeleteCute idea! It looks like a winter wonderbulb!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I always dread the first couple of days after I take down our Christmas decorations because the house always looks so barren! I've never heard of this snow stuff ~ very cool!

Yet another great idea Kitchen Girls. Taking down my Christmas decorations, slowly, for me has become a ritual of sorts. A clean, un-cluttered palette is a great visual to start the new year. Do you mail order items from your store? That bulbs is snow idea is charmingly tempting.
ReplyDeleteCheers
That does look like fun. In Florida, we'd have to use "Sand Wonder." ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have missed you girls SO much. I got my computer back FINALLY, set it up, began typing, and suddenly it went Zowwwwwwweeeeeeeepoof! And it was all she wrote.
I was already up to my eyeballs in junk hither, thither, and yon, and I had to wait to see what it was this time. Well, it was the BATTERY. So we wait again, and it finally gets here. But here I am!!!!! Yea!!!!
Wishing you and yours a Happy 2012! It felt so good to post today, but Good Golly Miss Molly, it sure took me two lifetimes to write that post. I'm rusty. Tin Man has nothing on me!
XO,
Sheila :-)
What a great idea. What exactly is Snowonder? We don't have that over here.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool!! I LOVE that idea!!
ReplyDeleteYou girls are so clever...
Happy New Year to you and yours!
