These Are a Few of Our Favorite Things.....

Paperweights
Mostly...paperweights of cities we've been to
or ones that have pretty shapes.
Here are a few of our favorite ones....
Washington DC
This star shape was really cool....
Niagara Falls
Do you see the man in the barrel going down the falls?
No?  Either could we!!

New Orleans
One of the buildings with scrolls
representing the great ironwork in New Orleans,
and the other of the Jackson Monument in Jackson Square.

Some of our favorite things:
Souvenir glass Paperweights...
we love running across them in antique stores and estate sales.
Fairly inexpensive...if the shape, city or sightseeing picture is right...it's ours!

What are some of your favorite things?

  4. I loved paper weights as a small girl and the ones I collected are now sadly gone. Now I must look for these when I'm thrifting ;-)

  6. I love paperweights, all things glass, really. The one thing we have to buy as a souvenir when we're traveling is a gold-plated brass ornament. Every year when we decorate our tree, we play the remember when game. The little one has only been alive for 1/3 of those trips, but he likes to remember the places he's been also. Thanks for sharing and taking me on my own trip down memory lane.
