There is such sacrifices made by our service members, so many paid the ultimate sacrifice. The shadows interwound in the flag make it so eye catching. That we notice the flag is what's important - wecannot ever forget!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful setting, as antique dealers, we honor the flags old and new in our shops, they have special meaning and this is one of their days to be honored in memory of our brothers and sisters lost...unlike my one comment that said my old flag should be retire with honor. I believe the honor is in the remembering the souls old and young that have sacrificed it all, not the age of the flag...Betsy Ross might disagree with him!
