I've always loved this ditty....
it must have made quite an impression on me
when I read it as a child!
So, when we got a box of goodies the other day,
and we opened it up to find these pie birds,
I smiled and thought of all of those birds
flying out of the king's pie!
Those are the prettiest pie birds! Not a baker but could see why someone would want one of those to cheer up the kitchen.

ReplyDeleteThe pie birds are too cute. But what is a pie bird? Are they just for decoration, or do they do something special like sing when the pie is done. :D
