on our new butterfly paperweights.

The butterflies, be they real or painted, are a delicate yet strong delight. The paperweights are heavy, as that is their function. Yet the delicacy of these flyers wakes the weight appear to be lighter - the illusion of delicacy is so artistic!

ReplyDeleteThey are simply beautiful. We're just back from a walk and probably one of the season's last butterflies fluttered past us. I must admit I had a sad little tug at the heartstrings realising the colder weather is just around the corner. Have a very happy Easter weekend.
