We were out pruning things, cleaning up leaves before our first "real" snow comes tomorrow night.....that is where we found this shadow amidst the climbing roses.
Enjoy your Shadow Shot Sunday!
Don't forget to visit more shadows around the globe at Hey Harriet!
Now that's beautiful image, I love it, with the white column, it looks so architectural and hardly winterlike at all.
I too just watched the weather channel, it is swirling all around us, nothing here yet, but I can feel it in my bones, we will get something...an inch they say...yicky...(is that a word)?
Such a soft delicate shadow climbing the white post. It's beautiful! Sad to think it may be covered in snow by this time tomorrow! Difficult for me to imagine considering we don't get snow here in tropical Queensland. Bundle up & keep warm :)
I'm about to post my shadow shots and looked at yours - we almost have twin pictures! So lovely. I think blogging and shadow hunting makes us savor all the fleeting seasonal sights! Greetings from New York.
Beautiful shadow shot girls, love the green against the crisp white. I too can't imagine snow at this time of year, we have cranked up the airconditioner over the last week :0)
Wonderful image..I imagine its starting to get cold there. It would be fun for all of us here to enjoy a different climate one day. Happy week ahead :D
What a lovely image - so delicate. It's hard to imagine you are expecting snow when the forecast for us today in Brisbane Australia is 90 degrees farenheit.

ReplyDeleteLove the delicacy of the shadows! Oddly, the shadows almost seem like berries and yet they are the alter ego of leaves!
